How much does it cost to attend a QuARTS Amateur Radio Course?

Foundation Amateur Radio CourseFoundation Course

The cost of the Foundation Amateur Radio Course is currently £60.

This includes the official RSGB (Radio Society of Great Britain) manual, support in the run-up to the two delivered sessions, access to our virtual classroom, hire of the venue for two days, refreshments and your examination fee.

In order to keep costs as low as possible and the course financially viable we need at least six people to attend the course; but there’ll never be more than ten on a course to keep to student/tutor ratio at a decent level.

Intermediate Amateur Radio CourseIntermediate Course

The cost of the Intermediate Amateur Radio Course is currently £88.

This includes the official RSGB (Radio Society of Great Britain) manual, support in the run-up to the two delivered sessions, access to our virtual classroom, hire of the venue for two days, refreshments, the components and kits needed to complete the practical assessments and your examination fee.

In order to keep costs as low as possible and the course financially viable we need at least four people to attend the course; but there’ll never be more than eight on a course to keep to student/tutor ratio at a decent level.

Advanced Amateur Radio CourseAdvanced Course

The cost of the Advanced Amateur Radio Course is currently £66.

This includes the official RSGB (Radio Society of Great Britain) manual, support in the run-up to the exam, access to our virtual classroom, hire of the venue for an afternoon/evening and your examination fee.

In order to keep costs as low as possible and the course financially viable we need at least four people to attend the exam.

Where is the Amateur Radio Course / Exam held?

Each Amateur Radio Course / Exam is held at our normal meeting place, Cottage Lane Mission in Ormskirk.
