Weather permitting, come along to the green by Aughton Village Hall with, or without, your telescope and explore the heavens with our resident star gazer.
At the time of writing (04/02/2026) the weather forecast is for zero chance of precipitation (rain, snow, etc.), clear skies and about 2 degrees C. So do wrap up warm and make sure you wear sensible footwear as it will be wet and slippery underfoot in the middle of the large field.
We'll meet at the Aughton Village Hall car park at 7:30pm and head back to the WI Hut for free hot teas and coffee between 8:30 and 9:00pm.
Everyone is welcome, there's no need to be a member.
If the weather fails us and we have cloud cover, then we'll be meeting at our normal meeting place, the WI Hut on Town Green Lane, at 9:30pm and have a chat about telescopes and what we might have been able to see had the weather been favourable.
