Liverpool Makefest is an extremely popular annual event held at the Central Library in the heart of Liverpool. It celebrates the maker movement and is a showcase for local businesses and technical special interest groups that support, encourage, a develop products and services for those who like to invent, design and tinker with all forms of technology. Liverpool Makefest is the UK's biggest single-day maker event. Coronavirus halts Liverpool Makefest Sadly, just like thousands of other event up and down the country, the Liverpool Makefest has been absent from the local calendar. However, it's back for 2022 and will open its doors on Saturday, July 2nd. The last event, in 2019, saw hundreds of people visit the event at which more than 200 makers presented live science experiments, hands-on activities with amazing technology, fun crafting sessions, opportunities to get close up to the latest inventions and have a play with gadgets that might just be the next big thing. EasyEDA is an easy-to-use, yet powerful, printed circuit board (PCB) design tool that comes in two variants - desktop and on-line. To-date its producer claims that more than two-and-a-half million designs have been produced by the software; and counting. The software features more than 1 million components and allows you to create create your own, or import libraries that other users have created. Furthermore, there are thousands of ready built projects that you can access as a starting point for your own projects.
