Annual General Meeting 2026

The Quantum Amateur Radio & Technology Society (QuARTS) will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday, 4th June, 2026 starting at 8pm – doors open 7:30pm.

All are welcome to attend, but only those that have paid their membership fees by midnight on the 3rd June will be able to contribute and vote.

Agenda

The agenda of the meeting will be …

  1. To agree the minutes of the 2025 AGM.
  2. To receive and approve the Chair’s report.
  3. To receive and approve the Treasurer’s report.
  4. To appoint the Chairperson of the Society.
    1. The current Chairperson is willing to stand for a further term.
    2. If you wish to stand for election as Chairperson, your request must be submitted to the current Society’s Elected Officers by the 29th May.
  5. To appoint the Treasurer of the Society.
    1. The current Treasurer is willing to stand for a further term.
    2. If you wish to stand for election as Treasurer, your request must be submitted to the current Society’s Elected Officers by the 29th May.
  6. To appoint the Secretary of the Society.
    1. The current Secretary is willing to stand for a further term.
    2. If you wish to stand for election as Secretary, your request must be submitted to the current Society’s Elected Officers by the 29th May.
  7. To appoint the Activity Co-ordinator of the Society.
    1. The current Activity Co-Ordinators are willing to stand for a further term.
    2. If you wish to stand for election for the new Activity Co-ordinator, your request must be submitted to the current Society’s Elected Officers by the 29th May.
  8. To set the membership fees for the year 1st May 2026, to 30th April 2027.
  9. Any other business.

The quorum for the AGM will be 25% of the full paid up members as of midnight on the 3rd June, subject to a minimum of five.

Any other business to be raised at the AGM must be presented to the existing elected officers no later than the 29th May.

UPDATE (02/06/2026)

Nobody has submitted a request to stand for any of the elected officers. therefore the vote will simply be to endorse the existing elected officers to fulfil their roles for another year.

No other business has been submitted for inclusion at the end of the meeting, therefore the meeting will end after the fees for the next year have been set.

Only seven membership fees have been received so far, so there is just over one day left to renew you membership if you want to contribute to/vote at the meeting.
