Quantum Technology Club
The Quantum Technology Club is the senior section of the Quantum Amateur Radio & Technology Society. It is designed for folks aged 16+ and caters for everyone with an interest in; amateur radio, electronics, computing, making and crafting.
Meetings
We meet twice a month, on the first and third Thursday of month and enjoy practical hands-on sessions, visiting speakers and talks, and a general opportunity to explore, experiment and showcase new technology and skills.
Activities
We arrange lots of activities for everyone to take part in and enjoy. To-date we have attended and exhibited the Liverpool MakeFest, Norbreck Amateur Radio Rally, supported events at the local library in Ormskirk with fun activities for people to have a go at, run amateur radio special event stations to promote Lancashire Day, SOS Radio Week (supporting the work of the RNLI) and had a weekend away in the Lake District to promote the work of William Preece in Coniston in the development of communications.
