Our annual visit to the Liverpool Makefest at Liverpool Central Library is nearly upon us. Members of the Quantum Technology Club have been really. Each year, their showpiece gets better and better; this year is no exception. We’ve seen the prototype and mock-up can promise you that 2025’s project is going to be a real show-stopper – bigger and flashier than ever.
What is it they’re building? Well, you’ll have to come down to the Liverpool Makefest and see for yourself, but we can promise you it will be big, it will be flashier and it will blow your mind. Our banner image at the top of this page is all the hint you’re going to get – for now.
In addition to showcasing our electronics and coding skills, we will be working in collaboration with the Wales Digital Radio Group and the Warrington Radio Club to run an equally impressive demonstration of amateur radio communications. Together we will be communicating around the world and out into space.
