Friday, 6th May, saw members of the Quantum Technology Club visit one of our newly elected Activity Co-ordinator’s house. The purpose was the manufacture and assembly of the remaining components for the club’s exhibition centrepiece at forthcoming Liverpool MakeFest.

The evening was a hive of activity manufacturing light tubes and assembling structural arms, most of which have been 3D printed on members’ own 3D printers. The accuracy of these modern printers, mostly Bambu Labs P1S models, have enabled the club to produce these structures with almost identical sizes. The end result will be an extremely professional looking product that will show the Quantum Technology Club, and its members, in an extremely good light – pardon there pun.

As to what it is they are manufacturing, well you have to come to the Liverpool Makefest at Liverpool Central Library on the 5th July (10:00 – 15:00) yourself and have a look. The event is free to enter and great fun for anyone interested in any aspect of technology.
