On the morning of 25th July amateur radio campers will start to turn up at Charity Farm and set themselves up for a weekend of fun, friendship and some amateur radio operating for the North West Radio Camp 2025.
There are twenty pitches available at this year’s camp, some of which may still be available if you contact the organisers, the Leyland & District Amateur Radio group.
The site chosen is an ideal base, being close to the M6 and having a good take off for amateur radio operations.
In addition to amateur radio activities, there will also be a Crafting Tent sponsored by the Quantum Technology Club. Bring your own crafts and enjoy a natter.
If you can’t make it for the weekend, the camp is open to day visitors for a small donation to club funds and everyone will be made most welcome.
